Julie is a lifetime alaskan and a professional artist. She is mostly self taught and has nurtured her talent by creating consistently throughout her lifetime. The urge to create has become an obsession and through continuously producing she has developed a unique style and vision. Nature appears in her multi-media work with formed metal elements that represent a recognizable format but are meant to invoke a feeling, a mood, or a response. Her dynamic use of color attracts attention and appreciation that energizes the viewer. Her paintings are bold and dynamic capturing the essence of a "snapshot" of time and place.
