my alaska this body of work is from 36 years of alaskan photography. the images are from my travels around the state, the people i met and the places i have been. most of the work was editorial in nature, although some of the imagery was just a captured moment. the entire show is film based and digitally printed. there have been no alterations made to any image other than cleaning out the dust marks. born in new york city in 1952 and raised in denver, i am the oldest of four children. i am the father of six and grandfather to another six. i am a fifth generation photographer working primarily in medium and large format. studied and mentored with barry perlus at cornell university.
